“New Advances in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Techniques” Program
On October 12th, our hospitals Department of Critical Care Medicine successfully held a national continuing education program titled "New Advances in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and Emergency Rescue Techniques." This training session invited renowned professors and scholars in the field of critical care from across the country, including Li Chunsheng, Yang Yi, Zhang Jinsong, and Jin Jun, as well as Cheng Junping, Deputy Director of the Suzhou Municipal Health Commission, and Mao Xiaofeng, Deputy Secretary-General of the Suzhou Medical Association. In addition, to strengthen cooperation and exchange in the field of emergency medicine between China and France, the department specially invited Professor Guillaume DEBATY, Chairman of the Cardiac Arrest Committee of the French Society of Emergency Medicine (SFMU) and Director of the Emergency Department at Grenoble Alpes University Hospital, to give a lecture. Our hospitals Vice President (in charge of work) Qian Zhiyuan attended the meeting, and the meeting was chaired by Zhu Jianjun, Director of the Department of Critical Care Medicine.
Qian Zhiyuan extended a warm welcome and expressed gratitude to the experts and scholars present. He pointed out that severe trauma and cardiopulmonary resuscitation are the most urgent and complex issues in the field of emergency care. Over the past few years, our hospitals Department of Critical Care Medicine has made certain advancements in the new technologies related to severe trauma and cardiopulmonary resuscitation. As a Sino-French friendly hospital, we hope that through this academic exchange forum, the lectures and interactions among Chinese and French experts will bring more valuable knowledge and experience to everyone.
Professor DEBATY carefully selected the topics of "Elevating the Head in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation" and "Emergency Communication in Front of the Court: CA Remote Identification - Telephone Guidance for CPR and the Value of Citizen Rescuers" for detailed explanation and discussion, sharing with everyone the relevant concepts and developments in emergency and critical care in France. Other renowned domestic experts and professors also delivered remarkable lectures on the theme of "Cardiopulmonary and Cerebral Resuscitation and Emergency Techniques," and many attendees expressed that they gained significant insights.
This program shared the latest research advancements, treatment experiences, and case studies in the fields of cardiopulmonary resuscitation and emergency care, promoting the newest concepts and techniques in rescue. Furthermore, the successful hosting of this event has further strengthened our hospitals academic exchange as a Sino-French friendly hospital with the Grenoble Alpes University Hospital in France, enhancing the academic influence of our Department of Emergency and Critical Care Medicine in related fields.
Sino-French Joint Imaging
Practical Training Workshop
——"Spinal Cord
Diseases & Degenerative Spinal Diseases" Residency Workshop
On October 12th, the 7th " Sino-French Joint Imaging Practical Training Workshop" for resident physicians, co-hosted by our hospitals Department of Imaging Diagnosis and the Department of Neuroimaging at the University Hospital of Grenoble Alpes in France, was successfully held at our hospital.
The theme of this training workshop is "Spinal Cord Diseases and Degenerative Spinal Diseases". We are honored to have Professor Alexandre KRAINIK, a radiology professor at the Grenoble Alpes University Hospital and Deputy Director of the Grenoble University Institute of Biological Imaging, as the training mentor. Physicians from the Department of Imaging Diagnosis, including Jiang Zhen, Zhang Yueyue, Zhang Wanjun, Jia Yujing, Wang Yigang, and Li Xiaojing, participated in this training.
The training fully utilizes the hospitals rich clinical case resources, combining a small class teaching model with advanced methods in contemporary clinical medical education, such as Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Case-Based Learning (CBL), and "hands-on training in human-computer interaction." While teaching the operations of image post-processing analysis, instructors engage in face-to-face exchanges and sharing of diagnostic experiences with the students. A comparison of pre-training predictive tests and post-training effectiveness tests shows that the students scores have significantly improved, effectively mastering and accumulating relevant imaging diagnostic skills and experiences.
The successful conduct of this training further solidified the exchange between our institution and the University Hospital of Grenoble Alpes in France, enhanced the reputation of our Department of Imaging Diagnosis in related fields, and also expanded our influence in continuing education and professional training in the field of medical imaging.
