On the morning of April 9th, Ms. Graciela Velez, a training official from the Division of Human Health of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), visited our hospital accompanied by Mr. Zhu Qiang, Deputy General Manager of CNNC Healthcare,Ms. Liu Juan, Manager of the International Business Department of the Beijing Branch. Mr. Xu Bo, Secretary of the Party Committee of our hospital, Vice President Zhang Liyuan, and relevant department staff attended the meeting.

    Secretary Xu Bo extended a warm welcome to Ms. Graciela Velezprovided a detailed introduction to the overall situation of the hospital as well as the history of cooperation and exchange with the IAEA. He expressed the hope that both sides could further strengthen our communicationestablish a long-term and stable cooperative relationship.

The purpose of this meeting is to explore cooperation in the training system for radiation therapy physiciststhe establishment of a training center. Relevant personnel provided detailed introductions to the constructiontraining capabilities in the fields of radiation therapynuclear medicine at our hospital. Ms. Graciela Velez introduced the current statusneeds of the IAEA Division of Human Health in the training of radiation therapy physicists. This meeting has laid a solid foundation for cooperation in the relevant training fieldshas injected new impetusthe hospitals international development.

After the meeting, Ms. Graciela Velez visited the hospitals Clinical Oncology Center, Department of Nuclear Medicine,Skills Training Center.
