On November 15, 2023, Demis Paolucci, head of Le Cochen company (Loccioni Group) medical practice department, and Gianmarco Tofanelli, general manager of Loccioni China, came to our hospital for cooperation. The company team was received by Zhao Jingzhou, vice president of our hospital, and Pan Jie, director of the hospital pharmacy department.
At the beginning of the meeting, both sides introduced the participants. Vice-president Zhao Jingzhou welcomed the visitors and stressed that advanced medical equipment is one of the bases for guaranteeing the high-quality development of the hospital.
Pharmacy department director Pan Jie briefed the visiting team on the general situation of our hospital and the department of pharmacy, focusing on our efforts and breakthroughs in the automation of intravenous drug dispensing centers. At the same time, he also pointed out some difficult problems in the operation.
Huang Yaqi, head of China marketing for Loccioni Healthcare, introduced Loccioni groups founding concept, core technology and market expansion. Loccioni groups business covers automotive manufacturing, home appliances manufacturing, medical, aerospace, environmental protection and sustainable agriculture and other fields. Huang highlighted the APOTECA project and its progress. The group has partnered with 115 top hospitals in 26 countries since the APOTECA was launched in 2007, more than 8 million bags of anti-cancer drugs have been dispensed and 100% of APOTECA drugs are traceable. They have published nearly 200 related scientific research articles.
At the end of the meeting, director Panjie raised questions about how to ensure that the dispensing robot is updated to meet medical needs. Demis, head of Loccionis medical practice, answered questions, stressing the need to strengthen market research, actively listen to user feedback. The two sides also discussed the equipment construction, work efficiency and safety.
At the end of the discussion, director Pan Jie led the visiting team to visit our intravenous drug dispensing center. Both sides made in-depth exchanges and future prospects around PIVAS automation equipment, intelligent software systems, etc.

Italian Le Cochen company (Loccioni Group) expressed the hope to cooperate with our hospital in the technical innovation, the product research and development. Our Hospital also expressed the hope that we could speed up the local production of intravenous drug dispensing robots and the joint formulation of equipment standards, so as to solve the current pain and difficulties in the intravenous drug dispensing process.
