Our hospital was established in 1988. During the 36 year history of clinical nursing, we adhere to the principle of providing high-quality nursing services throughout the entire life cycle, continuously accumulating and exploring, and have made significant progress in our professional development.further adapt to the needs of rapid social development, explore the establishment of a long-term mechanism for high-quality nursing services, innovate work ideas, promote scientific governance, comprehensively strengthen clinical nursing work, accelerate the cultivation of medical nursing talents, comprehensively improve the key specialty advantages of our clinical nursing profession, and ensure the formation of our clinical nursing specialty technology and br. At present, there are 75 nursing units in the whole hospital, with 1516 nurses in total. There are 115 senior professional title personnel in the hospital currently, 7 members of the Chinese Nursing Association and above provincial vice chairmen, 11 supervisors in nursing master degree, and more than 40 nursing graduates and graduate students every year.
Academic Status
The nursing department was approved as a key discipline in Suzhou City in 2021. It was approved as a key specialty in Suzhou City in 2023. The STEM nursing discipline of the hospital ranked 84th and entered the top 100 in the country in 2023.

There have been 14 projects above the municipal level in Suzhou, 34 SCI articles, 55 statistical sources or core journals, 29 monographs by the chief editor and deputy chief editor, 7 new technologies and projects, 4 new technology introduction awards, 3 scientific and technological achievement awards, and 134 patents in the past three years.
International Cooperation
The nursing department actively selects nursing talents to study abroad, including theoretical studies or short-term nursing internships in France, Singapore, Japan, etc., promoting the transmission and exchange of nursing culture, technology, and professional knowledge between the countries effectively.
